Word Entertainment Claims 39 Dove Award Nominations

Word Entertainment, Warner Music Group’s Christian music division, is adding to their 60th Anniversary celebration with 39 Dove Award nominations at this year’s 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. With the collaborative accomplishments of all Word Entertainment entities (which include Word Distributed Labels, Word Label Group, Word Music Publishing and Word Print), the company continues to prove its elite status as a reigning force in the industry during this milestone year. Among the 39 nominations, this is Francesca Battistelli’s second “Artist of the Year” nod and this marks Chris August’s first ever Dove Award nomination.

“We are so proud of the entire Word Entertainment family and the hard work, artistry and creativity of each individual to help make these nominations possible,” said Rod Riley, President and CEO of Word Entertainment. “What a great way to kick-off our 60th anniversary year!”

The 42nd Annual Dove Awards show will be taped live at 7:00 PM (EST) at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, on April 20th and broadcast on The Gospel Music Channel (GMC) on Sunday, April 24th at 8:00 PM (EST).
