MEREDITH ANDREWS JOINS “WALK IN THE WORD TOUR” WITH PASTOR JAMES MACDONALD

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (April 6, 2010) — Known for her poignant lyrics and infectious melodies, singer-songwriter Meredith Andrews will be taking her music and message to the “Walk in the Word Bus Tour” with James MacDonald. Launching April 6 in Minneapolis, MN, the tour will stop in 18 cities ending May 7 in Ontario, Canada. This unique tour will reach thousands featuring Meredith as the sole music performer alongside MacDonald’s teaching segments.

Andrews, who recently released her acclaimed sophomore album As Long As It Takes, has been a long-time worship leader and member of MacDonald’s 12,000-member Chicago-area church, Harvest Bible Chapel. The three-time GMA Dove Award nominee's current single "Can Anybody Hear Me?" from the new album is her fastest climbing AC single to date. Produced by Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp (Bebo Norman, Aaron Shust, Tenth Avenue North), the duo that also produced Andrews’ debut record The Invitation, As Long As It Takes is the result of a two year wait since the release that launched the hits “You Invite Me In”, “You’re Not Alone” and “New Song We Sing.”

Walk in the Word is the Bible teaching ministry of Dr. James MacDonald, pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel in the suburbs of Chicago. This daily 30-minute radio program can be heard on over 1030 outlets across North America and engages listeners through audio, video, web, printed resources, and listener events.
